Sermon 10 – It’s a CONTRADICTION

If a child says to their father “I appreciate what you’ve done for me”, and then chooses to truant from school, speaks rudely to their mother, or practices sexual promiscuity behind the parent’s back, that’s a contradiction. How can you say you appreciate the parent and at the same time disrespect and defame the parent’s principles or your father’s wife?

If a friend says to you Read the rest of this entry »

Sermon 6 – The Issue is always POSITION

Love your wife as Christ loves the church Ephesians 5:25, and be not bitter against her Colossians 3:19, that your prayers be not hindered 1 Peter 3:7.

Sermon 4 – THE UNSAVED CHRISTIAN

The parable of the 5 foolish virgins in Matthew 25 strongly suggests that it’s possible to lose the Holy Spirit, and confirms that you can’t get the Spirit from someone else. You alone are responsible for the Spirit to stay in you.

Sermon 2 – “Don’t call me stupid”

SERMON 2. Don’t call me STUPID!
How do you react when someone calls you ‘stupid’? Most people bite back. In Matthew 5:22, Jesus challenges people who call others ‘stupid’ to think before they accuse, because the act equates to killing the person’s character and earns hell punishment. Therefore, the person who brands others as ‘stupid’ is actually passing judgment on themselves because it’s the height of hardness to have experienced the pain of being called ‘stupid’ and then to turn on others with the same hurtful brand. Jesus doesn’t judge them; they’ve judged themselves. Everyone has said in their heart, Read the rest of this entry »
